The Moon Goddess is a character in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. She was a fake deity made up by the brainwashing of Mesmer.
History[]
Village of the Damned[]
Due to Mesmer's hypnotism on the orders of Dr. Robotnik, the people of a village were tricking into thinking they were followers of a "Moon Goddess" and that they needed to sacrifice Knuckles the Echidna to her in order for to give them a good harvest.[1][2] To please the Moon Goddess, the villagers would wear twisted disguises and trick Knuckles out of hiding.[2] The villagers' belief in the Moon Goddess was dispelled though when Knuckles stopped Mesmer.[3]

- She is referred to by Dr. Robotnik as the Sun Goddess.[3]
