The Monkey Detonation Switch,[1] or Monkey Destruction Switch,[2] is a gimmick that appears in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. It is a switch that the player uses to destroy imprisoned Kiki.

Description

The Monkey Detonation Switch is a blue and red switch with a button on it. It can detonate all Kikis within a certain range when used.

Overview

The switch is used by Knuckles to destroy a special Kiki imprisoned in a small cage hanging on a wall to open a gate to the Red Mountain Action Stage.

In the game, the player has to go and get the Shovel Claw to dig at a specific point on the ground to uncover the Monkey Detonation Switch. The player then has to grab the switch and throw it at the imprisoned Kiki to destroy it and open the gate to Red Mountain.
