Description[]
History[]
Mobius' history diverges from the Prime Zone during an event where Sonik is tricked by Robotnik into entering a space ship which he assumed has Sally Acorn trapped inside, although this turns out not to be the case. Sonik ends up being launched to the outerlimits of the solar system, only to be saved by a race of aliens known as the Pearlmen. These aliens then put Sonik into a state of suspended animation for 1000 years, with Sonik finally awakening in the year 4235.
Sonik soon returns to Mobius on the space shuttle where he had spent the last millenia, only to find the place completely different and ravaged by war. He soon encounters the Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy, a group of freedom fighters who descend from the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Each of the freedom fighters have developed various super powers as a result of their respective species resettling on different planets after Mobius was ravaged during the War of the World, and event that took place after Robotnik's mechanized world imploded in on itself.
At some point during living memory, the various planets that had been resettled around Mobius were attacked by an alien race known as the Shark, who completley wiped out all respective members of each race, be it the rabbots, chimpunks, or foxes, that had resettled on other planets. However, one member of each planet had survived, and these would go on to form the Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy under the authority of Hawkhawk.
Once Sonik returned to Mobius, it was soon attacked by Silver Snively and Robolactus, who were aiming to use the Planet Juicer to suck out the life force of the planets in the solar system. Robolactus first set his sights on Bluto, Saleta's home planet. The Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy tried to stop him from hooking the Planet Juicer, but were simply too weak to stop Robolactus. He eventully got fed up with the petty attacks of the Freedom Fighters and decieded to simply blow up all the planets instead. However, he was stopped by Silver Snively, who told Robolactus that these planets weren't nutritious and suggest he eat home planet of the Sharks' home, much to Rotor-27's delight.[1][2]
