Mobians[note 1] are creatures that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. They are an interplanetary alien race of anthropomorphic animals spanning across the galaxy.
Description[]
Anatomy[]
Mobians are anthropomorphic animals with humanoid physiques, typically standing around three feet tall. They often have exaggerated features, including large eyes with elliptical pupils, oversized heads and limbs, as well as vibrant fur and eye colors. However, Mobians do not all look the same. For example, Giant Owls resemble larger versions of their Earth counterparts, while other species, such as lizards and the Scavengers, have body structures and proportions that are more human-like.
Characteristics and culture[]
Mobians have developed technology that is far more advanced than that of most humans, with variations in innovation between different cultures. Some Mobians have created sophisticated machinery, such as the Miles Electric and the Piko Piko Hammer, while others have crafted magical tools, like the Master Emerald. Unfortunately, Mobians have gained a negative reputation among other alien races in the galaxy due to the actions of the Scavengers.[3] Notable Mobian territories include Mobius,[4] Marble Zone,[5] Casino Night,[3] and, more recently, Earth.

In the distant past, the fauna of Mobius evolved into a dominant species of anthropomorphic animals.[6] Eventually, through unknown means, the Mobians acquired Rings and began settling on other planets, forming an interconnected society that spread throughout the galaxy.
