MissionLostWorld

The Mission list in Sonic Lost World.

Missions are a gameplay feature that appears in the Wii U/PC version of Sonic Lost World. They are additional, optional objectives that the player can choose to complete for rewards.

Overview

In the Wii U/PC version of Sonic Lost World, the player can access missions by speaking to Omochao on the world map of the Lost Hex. He will give the player up to three Missions at a time, and once they have completed at least one, they can speak to him again to receive a new one. Completing Missions rewards the player with either items that they can use anywhere by accessing the suitcase menu, or upgrades to the RC Vehicles.

In this game, the items rewarded have star ratings (aside from the RC upgrades). The stars indicate how effective the item is, i.e. a 5-star Ring capsule will give the player more Rings than a 1-star.

Trivia

  • In the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World, when all the Missions are complete, Omochao will claim that there is an award, but the player will not receive anything. In the PC version this was fixed, with Omochao simply congratulating the player instead.
