Based on a Badnik which resembles a real life crab, the Missile Ganigani looks nearly identical to a Crabmeat, with the only differences being their orange color scheme and possessing longer claws compared to the normal Crabmeats seen during the Lost Hexincident.
Overview[]
The Missle Ganiganis appear exclusively in the Wii U and PCversions of Sonic Lost World, where they can be found in Frozen Factory Zone 2 and Lava Mountain Zone 3. The Missile Ganigani's attack pattern consists of them attempting to attack the player by shooting missiles at him from a distance. Like regular Crabmeats, the player has to use the Flying Kick to flip a Missile Ganigani over and make them vulnerable to an attack. Trying to attack them without kicking them first will cause the Missile Ganigani to counter attack the player instead.
Additionally, when Sonic turns himself into a large snowball in Frozen Factory Zone 2, the Missile Ganiganis will try to fire their missiles towards the player. These missiles are able to destroy the whole snowball and the player will automatically lose a life if they have not collected all the Rings sticking to the snowball at the previous Star Post.
Like with most other Badniks in the game, the Missile Ganigani releases an Animal upon destruction.
Powers and abilities[]
The Missile Ganigani are able to shoot homing missiles from their claws in order to damage their enemies. Like the regular Crabmeats during the Lost Hexincident, Missile Ganigani are also able to counter most attacks with a punch to help protect themselves from being destroyed.
Weaknesses[]
The Missile Ganigani is vulnerable to the Flying Kick attack, as it topples them over and makes them susceptible to getting destroyed by another attack.
