The Mirror Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a pocket zone adjacent to the Prime Zone.
Description[]
The Zone looks similar to Mobius, but when someone enters this zone, their dialogue, actions, and sounds are flipped, or "mirrored". This makes it hard to read and communicate.[1]
History[]
Dr. Robotnik sent a SWATbot into the Mirror Zone with a secret message. Sonic and Tails then followed the robot into the zone to retrieve the message. Once they got the message, they left the zone (much to Sonic's relief). When Sonic and Tails looked at the message however, they were unable to read it, because it was reversed.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Mirror Zone is also shown to be reflected to the reader. The easiest way for one to understand what is happening in the mirror zone is to simply hold the comic up to a mirror.
