Mint Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Mint Chao have honeydew pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large blue eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. However, they have mint tips on their arms, feet, and head points. They also have a honeydew dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Mint Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for 1,000,000 Rings on 21 May 2022. However, the option to purchase it was removed approximately 48 hours afterwards.

In gameplay, Mint Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Mint Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Mint Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Mint Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Mint Chao by collecting five Mint Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Mint Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Mint Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
