The Mini Black Hole is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is a tiny bomb that creates a localized black hole when detonated.

Appearance[]
The Mini Black Hole is a tiny, black, spherical device with a circular button. The bomb has various lights across its shell that, when activated, glow a bright orange.
Features and traits[]
Once activated, the Mini Black Hole will float in mid-air and spin rapidly, surging with Shadow's chaos energy before exploding into a small black hole that sucks everything within a certain radius into it. The Mini Black Hole is capable of absorbing all of the matter in Gerald's laboratory, including the mountain it was built under. After sucking in everything it its range, the Mini Black Hole simply dissipates.

The Mini Black Hole was created sometime before 1974, and was one of many experiments with Shadow's chaos energy conducted during the events of Project Shadow.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3[]
After being captured by Shadow the Hedgehog and Gerald Robotnik, Team Sonic gets tied up with chains. After stealing the key to the Eclipse Cannon, Robotnik, Gerald, Agent Stone, and Shadow leave, using the Mini Black Hole to kill Team Sonic. However, using a Ring, Sonic opens a portal to escape by perfectly bouncing the ring off of the rubble that was being sucked into the Mini Black Hole. In the end, Team Sonic manages to use the portal to get out, then watches in shock as the Mini Black Hole sucks the entirety of the lab away.
