The Metarex Gillman (メタレックス・ギルマン Metarekkusu Giruman?) is character that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It is a variety of amphibious Metarex.

The Metarex Gillman troops resemble salmon-colored piranhas with arms and legs.

Metarex Saga[]
The Metarex Gillmans were encountered by Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies on a desert planet that was covered by oceans after its Planet Egg was removed. Their aquatic abilities gave them a brief advantage over Sonic, whom they captured and delivered to their superior Gillman's Boss. However, thanks to the inventiveness of Christopher Thorndyke, Sonic was able to triumph over the Gillman forces and destroy them.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Gillmans possess a hydrodynamic design, making them fast swimmers. Gillmans possess sharp teeth and good jumping skills. Gillmans are also quite durable, able to withstand being hit by a Spin Attack or Amy’s Piko Piko Hammer.
