Yeah. it's me Cirno or TyruntsaurusRex, I've wondered why isn't on their server but yes, I'm a biggest fan of Sonic The Hedgehog and my friendship with you shouldn't have been happened if it wasn't for me being there in the first place :)
I wonder what Sonic Fanbase will care about me being there?
Cirno you mysteriously vanished from Discord & we were worried about you at KirbyFan's server. Sorry it took me 2 weeks to respond, it's been a really busy past couple of weeks for me with the new job I have.
I wasn't aware you left Lovejam, although it's nice to hear from you again. I was laying low from an online standpoint for roughly the past month, while giving real life some focus. Real Life in the 21st Century kind of sucks, it's like questionable people took control of things near the end of the Millennium, at least in The States. About a month ago my Quarterlife Crisis got even more complicated when problems not usually felt until a midlife crisis surfaced.
From what I understand it's almost unheard of for someone to feel their body & mind to start to slowly deteriorate in their mid 20s, so I'm on my own. The other day I threw my back out in an attempt at exercising to try to regain some of the energy my body had in its prime about 5 years ago. I mean I actually am currently under the existential belief that I was born to suffer because of the amount of crap that's been stacked against me in life.
My body isn't really any good to me, my mind isn't good enough, & my soul just doesn't belong in this world, let alone the body it's being imprisoned inside of. Sorry everything I'm saying is so depressing I just have clear problems that no matter how much I try to deal with them they just keep coming back. Hopefully you've been much better than me Lovejam!
I'm so sorry. Everyone feels that way at some point of their lives, maybe even multiple times. However, that feeling can be worse than death itself and you just wanna shake out of it. Don't worry, we'll be here to help you.
Thanks Lovejam, Your style looks really cute, although her fur color is bluer like the shade you made her bracelet. The bracelet would probably be closer to the shade you drew her skirt. Also I think Yume's shoes would probably be cuter like Black Mary Janes.
Sure, thanks Lovejam, Also you should know that Yume's ears usually stand upward. When she's in pain or upset they generally will enter positions like what you drew her in, although there are some exceptions such as moments when she feels really shy & nervous.
You can if you want, although we could also say that it's 1 of the moments when she's feeling shy & nervous, the large smile could be an attempt to hide her nervousness. Hopefully you're enjoying Yume so far as you draw her Lovejam.
Yume looks so cute the way you drew her Lovejam. You did a really nice job, you have tons of potential as an artist. The more you work with your Sonic style the better you'll get, then you'll eventually be able to show your work to Comic Artists at conventions. That's probably how you'll be able to get a job drawing Sonic Comics, although there's a good chance that you would end up working with your rival if you did that.
I use polygon tool, mouse click and paint bucket tool because its more accurate as my hands are shaky and not perfect.
It also allows ,e to rule straight lines without having to resort to tool changing, it also allows to experiment around with different shading styles, one unique to me. I use Photoshop and ONLY photoshop for everything I do, such as:
I really do recommend to you do a Youtube or Google search on tutorials on how to use GIMP better for whatever art style you like, find my effective and efficient ways to go about your work. No one is going to teach you, so you have to find ways to educate yourself in the same way I did (I had to start from zero knowledge like you did). Practice makes perfect and that's all there is to it.
Expert mission 15 is indeed tricky, but with the right build and a team of mostly human players (as in not computer characters, just to be clear) it can done. First off, I'd recommend the super skill "Super Guard" and the evasive "Vanisher Guard", these two moves are helpful for dealing with those seemingly unavoidable attacks they use in expert missions.
A good tactic for this mission would be to create a healer build as the amount of enemies can really wear the team down. Elder Kai's Super Soul "Hmmmm hmmmm hmmmmm!" activates health regen for the entire team when you use both a transformation and a buff skill at the same time. I believe the SS can only be obtained through the Majin family. Combine that with a transformation and a buff skill (I'd recommend Divinity Unleashed if you have DLC 4, that way you can just ki charge and spam ults whilst keeping your healthy) and your party should die at lot less, if at all. For further healing, you can bring Towa's ult Energy Zone that heals everyone within a small radius. I'd recommend using it just after reviving someone.
If you're a Saiyan, an ability that Super Saiyans have that the game doesn't tell you is that if you fully charge a blast skill, you'll teleport in front of your target and unleash the attack right on top of them. This means you can have greater chance of hitting the enemy as they move around the field and also allows you can use attacks from a safe distance. I believe one the strongest of the chargeable blast ults is the x100 Big Bang Kamehameha combined with SSB Goku's Super Soul, "I ain't losing! Here's my full power!" (again, from DLC 4) is a great way to deal damage and it's common tactic I see used by many players, you don't have that, a SS that increases blast skills, my personal favourite is Beerus' "Before creation, comes ruin..." it takes 30 seconds before it comes into effect, but other than that, it has zero downsides.
I've been using Energy Zone & Dodoria Blaster as Ultimate Moves, I've been using potential unlock as my awakened skill (best humans can get) & have Max Charge for a Super Move so that I can spam Ultimate Moves fully powered by my QQBang. I agree it would be easier with actual players, although those are hard to find. I'll have to try that Super Soul you suggested. The main problem I have is that I keep running out of time, I'm hoping that being a couple levels higher now makes some difference along with those suggestions of yours.
Well I finally managed to clear it, & started earning Medals from Expert Mission 17. When my Switch is done charging I'll start stockpiling like you suggested. I noticed there's an Expert Mission 18 where you battle Broly now, is that anywhere near as tough as Expert Mission 15 was? Well thanks for your suggestions, they really helped & the problem was I had to create a room & wait at least 5 minutes for enough players to enter it.
Still the rate of Medal gathering is taking longer than expected. Rather than 200 every 70 minutes of calm play, it seems to be taking me 42 minutes to get over 200 medals now with more focused play than before. Do you know anything about these Double Reward days I have heard rumors about? Those could really help me stockpile on medals.
Well thanks to the information you've given me I'm slowly starting to make progress, I started crafting a moveset for clearing Expert Mission 17 more quickly using Death Ball & Special Beam Cannon & it's cut down the time for each clear by a full minute so far.
I noticed Death Ball as being powerful, with about 70% Accuracy when using it from a distance. Although if you get relatively close it always takes away at least 3/4ths an HP Bar from Goku which is good.
I'm stuck against Vados for Hero Colosseum, because you can't use Ultimate Attacks against her. I have 3 UR figures all fully Limit Broken, the new Super Saiyan Rose Black LV70, Blue Vegeta LV60, & Goku LV99, although that's not really working. Right now I'm just trying to max out the levels for my Ultra Rare figures & see if that helps. Have you gotten that far in Hero Colosseum yet? If you have a winning team against Vados I would like to hear it.
Since you can't seem to notice me on your blog, maybe you will here. You think Sonic Generations isn't as good as Sonic Forces. I can get that in terms of atmosphere and story, however, that isn't the main factor of a game. I want to know what exactly it is about Sonic Forces level design and gameplay that you deem makes it better than Generations, because at the end of the day, that is what makes a game a game.
For the record, I have nothing against your opinion itself. I see how people can both like and hate Sonic Forces. But opinions, at least to me, just need to have some meaty justification as to why they are had, and in a game, where the focus is rarely on the story, the gameplay needs to be the central focus, which you haven't addressed.
The Custom Hero just seems to fit perfectly into the game with excellent gameplay, Modern Sonic also has great gameplay & they both go well together simultaneously for the stages where Sonic & your character team up. Some of the stages may seem short, although they are well thought out. I only have a few regrets, such as Shadow not being able to fight Infinite & that because Perfect Chaos was fought in Gens we weren't given an epic boss fight against Perfect Chaos in Forces as Sonic with Custom Hero.
In my opinion, I do think Forces has decent gameplay. The controls are alright, and the gameplay itself is sound and good on paper. However, the main problem for me, and the ultimate reason why I rank it lower than Generations, is the level design. I find it very odd that Sonic Team would have three people, two of which had never worked on a Sonic game, and the other just Lost World, design the levels. There are some portions where you're boosting in a straight line for several seconds and doing nothing. Enemies are mostly harmless, and can easily be destroyed by the Wispons. Half the time they're lined up like bowling pins waiting for death. There are some impressive stages, like Modern Sonic's Death Egg, Null Space and Mortar Canyon, though most are visually stunning, but not that interesting to play.
Agreed that enemies are easily destroyed, although that's true for most Sonic Games, only Classic Games, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, & a couple of other games actually had enemies that were challenging. It's the fact that they ruin the whole Gotta Go Fast, mindset if they aren't easy to defeat.
In most games, whilst the enemies don't serve as any true threat most of the time, they at least serve as obstacles of sorts, and are placed in places that benefit the stage design, for example, several flying enemies leading to alternative pathways. In Forces, a lot of the enemies just kinda stood there waiting to be mowed down, and there wouldn't have been much different if some weren't there. Even in this game's best stages the enemies rarely seem to serve a purpose.
Abandonment is part of growing up, inner insanity was part of my experience although it's not normal. I always was sensitive when I was a young kid, I know I wasn't meant to exist deep down. My desire for anime may merely be means of escaping from the world I don't belong in. Sorry it took me a week to respond, I just was fearful that you would come to hate me as well because of something I eventually said.
