I thought the same thing, so you are not alone. However, as long as it is not confirmed, then this can be chalked up to personal opinions. Try asking the artist for this cover; if they confirm thi resemblance is intentional, then it deserves to be in the trivia.
This has been bugging me since Forces revealed that the Phantom Ruby is a virtual reality weapon, when the Phantom Ruby transportation Classic Sonic & the Others to their respective levels (Ones with the Ruby's transportation Cutscenes). Would that mean that Angel Island is just a virtual reality projections of Green Hill/Chemical Plant and after the fight Eggman and EggRobos, they travel down to West Side Island and use a sewer pipe to go to Studiopolis Zone.
Nope. Sonic Mania Adventures proves this theory incorrect as well. After Forces, Sonic can be seen returning to Angel Island, yet no one commanded the Phantom Ruby to do anything at that point, so Angel Island is authentic. Also, the destroyed Phantom Heavies were present on Angel Island. Someone should've had the power to conjure up a fake Angel Island before Sonic returned for the Heavies to rest there. However, no one did.
Another point is that the first time round in Hidden Palace Zone, Knuckles sees Heavy King trying to make off with the Master Emerald. Why would Knuckles defend the Master Emerald if it was fake? Why would the Heavy King try to take the Emerald if it was fake? And it has never been stated that the Ruby can conjure up something as powerful as the Master Emerald to power up another person which the Heavy King did in his battle.
Eggman is smart but he's not going to create fakes of things he knows aren't worth creating fakes of. At least, in Mania's case.
I suppose Chuck was busy with his research, but he wasn't so busy that he could never spend time with Chris. I guess Chuck spent time with Chris occasionally, but not all the time.
You know, there were moments that showed that Chris had a close relationship with his grandfather like in episode 39. From watching Sonic X, he seemed to be one of the few people I felt Chris had a close relationship with.
I know that Chris has his three human friends, Danny, Frances, and Helen. But besides when they became teens at the end of season 2, there weren't really any moments that show that Chris has much of a close relationship with them. I think that might be where Chris' loneliness comes from. Not just from the isolation of him from his parents, but from lack of companionship, especially a close one.
Yeah. And if we did, Chris' page would probably be the most vandalized page on this wiki.
But anyway, I'm obviously not part of the majority that hates Chris Thorndyke. I understand why because of his screen time, his relationship with Sonic, his roles that he takes from other characters, but they weren't really a bother to me. I mostly just consider him an okay character with some good character development. I also sometimes think he can be overly hated.
