This cover was drawn by Jennifer Hernandez. The cover shown in the first link is simply the raw artwork for the cover. The one in the second link is the provisional cover for the upcoming Tangle & Whisper issue. The logo used on this provisional cover is incorrect as someone probably over at IDW confused this spin-off miniseries for the main comic series. That is why that logo is there.
Secondly, the reason the cover can be seen at this link https://previewsworld.com/Catalog/JUN190658 is because this is yet another mistake but this time on PreviewsWorld. They described Evan Stanley to be doing the A cover, Nathalie Fourdraine to be doing the B cover and Jennifer Hernandez to be doing the RI cover. As hardly anyone seems to care what artist does what, PreviewsWorld place the provisional cover I mentioned earlier onto the link where Evan's cover is supposed to be.
To re-iterate, Evan Stanley and Jennifer Hernandez are not the same person. Jennifer drew that cover. Both IDW and PreviewsWorld described Jennifer to be doing the RI cover and Evan to be doing the A cover. PreviewsWorld used Jennifer's cover on Evan's page anyway. Mistakes were made.
I see. Thank you for explaining. That's good thing I chose to talk it out instead of making some edit-warring.
Also, wouldn't it be easier if the artist's names would be provided next to those... lack for the better word; "working" covers? Much like "Sonic the Comic" stuffs, which had their artist named for drawing their appearances and such?
Is it okay if I can change Silvers profile were it says immature and naive because I really don’t think he is from my observation of all the game so he acts quite the opposite ornery that and think that may Ben inncorect
Silver attacked Sonic in 06 twice. He argued with him in Rivals. He attacked him in Generations. He is very naive. Optimistic, but naive. He also is immature seen when he fought Shadow based on his intense feelings
With Silver attacking Sonic twice that was because of Amy getting mad at him that her best friend almost got killed .She was sending messages that killing someone to save the world was wrong and if I were in the position I would chose sonic . Silver is of course kind hearted so he felt Amy’s pain and really questioned if he should be doing this .
This isnt naivety because a experniced mature person would do the same thing if they having a carrying heart . I would even do that so he seeked advice from his friends on what’s her thoughts on if this is right on not. I can’t understand why people say that’s naive because weither mature , sophisticated or not a person with a heart would ask and look back to see if it right .
With Silver arguing with Sonic rivals it was because Sonic was getting in his way while he was trying to save the world and doing his mission. Let’s be honest Sonic has a carefree attitude and even Shadow sometimes gets annoyed with it . Sonic was constantly talking , cracking jokes when ‘’ He says long time no see Silver I guess your looking for Eggman too huh’’ Silver just told him to move aside so he can do his mission.
If anything I think Sonic is considered somewhat immature and Silver has the maturity of Shadow the hedgehog since he is usually serious and no nonsense . He even told rouge to stop the foolishness with the chao when she was joking around about him and the chao. Silver being mature told her that’’ This is a serious situation and if she was going to help or keep getting in his way.
Even when Espio said he trust silver. Silver asked if he was going to help or keep getting in his way. Silver just doesn’t take foolishness like Shadow he’s very serious .
In Forces he’s very mature he is calm and collected and was optmistic when sonic and tails were gone . Why everyone was giving into despair Silver explained how we have to still fight and save the world . Even when knuckles gave the plan a name called ‘’ Operation big wave Silver said says who cares what is called what’s it’s important is to have a well thought out strategy
1. Nothing was because of Amy. He attacked Sonic the first time because that was his mission. Amy told him off and Silver reconsidered his options. What did he do after that? Attacked Sonic again. Now instead of having a rational discussion with the guy to see WHY Amy defends him, why would he just straight up attack him again? That's ignorance. Also, just because he wished to move on with Operation: Big Wave does not mean what he said to Knuckles was not rude.
2. Yes, Sonic is immature, we know that, but this is not about him. Silver is immature himself, especially when compared to someone like Blaze or Shadow. Even Nakamura, the director of both Sonic 06 and Forces stated that Silver is immature. We have absolutely no reason to go against what an official of the games has already stated. In fact, Blaze called Silver naive and she was not wrong considering he so easily trusted Mephiles unlike Sonic and Shadow. Another case would be the recent Team Sonic Racing as he had no idea how to engage in an informal conversation with Sonic. His insecurities get the better of him when he is alone.
3. Just because someone is optimistic does not mean they cannot be immature. We are not saying that Silver is extremely immature like Charmy but they do have similarities. They have both thrown tantrums when something has not gone their way and they have both seen through the brighter side of events. Being immature is a negative personality trait but that does not suddenly mean that Silver is a bad character. He has imperfections. That is what makes him interesting. Because if a character was the most perfect person you have ever seen, why bother reading more about them? You would know the rest of the story.
Your right but I don’t understand why silver has to have more childish negative traits rather than flaws that aren’t childish. But I will ask this when did he throw tantrums when things didn’t go his way like Charmy because I’m thinking the only reason he was upset in rivals is because of sonic getting in his way and acting carefree .
Everyone in this series has to have unique traits to make them more interesting and engaging. It’s not a big deal that Silver got this one personality. And I guess when I think of tantrum, I can refer back to the fight he had against Shadow and did not accept his defeat after being kicked in the head. It’s mild but it was an outburst of anger
Could you use that announcement feature for https://sonic.fandom.com/f/p/3100000000000004680 if it doesn't have one already? Maybe it does and I just didn't get the notification because I made the thread, but I noticed a lot of regular editors haven't taken notice of it
"However, thanks to Dr. Starline, Eggman was eventually returned to his old self and resumed his evil ways."
Wasn't Metal Sonic also the main key that returned Eggman's old memory to Eggman after Dr. Starline's effort to return the memory to Eggman? In the comic, all Tinker did was looking over Metal Sonic's damaged statue and his memory returned instantly.
Just want to know why that was written and no mentioned of Metal Sonic? That's all.
If you're saying that it would be incorrect because Starline went through the plan, set-up, and effort to get Mr. Tinker away from the village that he was imprisoned in, persuade Mr. Tinker to believe that he is Eggman all along, and shocked Mr. Tinker only to come up fruitless?
All that meanwhile Metal Sonic hauled his metal rums fighting Sonic and the team, shut down only to wake up in front of Sonic and Tails, slap the hand off and retreat its way back to the Eggman's H.Q., yes?
