Well, I recall only one person asking me for help while other admins weren't. Most people are not that interested in editing on the wiki unless it's for a big event like a game launch such as Sonic Generations or Sonic Mania. People will usually barge in and edit away without a care in the world and completely ignore the option to receive help because they feel as if they just helped and would not want to go back over it.
No one wants to be told that their editing on the wiki needs help as since it is not a necessity to virtually anyone, they will not bother to listen. Even before the program, multiple people decided to ignore wall messages that me and the other admins would bring up because they always feel as if they know better than the admins. Others unfortunately do not speak English so there's a language barrier. The third set of people just ignore us and do what they want and the fourth set will vandalize. Always.
There's not much I can suggest to make this better because editors would rather try and forcibly learn on their own. That's not to say all editors are like this, of course, as I still receive a few questions on how things should be done around here. However, I sometimes take it upon myself to edit after those who make the mistakes because they will not know if they do not listen or observe. This is a community and it would be so much better if people took the time to relax, communicate and edit in cooperation because we always get things done faster that way.
Do you have any hopes that the Freedom Fighters will appear in IDW, as Ian says that he is trying to find middle ground with SEGA for them to appear, also that they need to fit in the Modern Sonic world and have to be redesign, so do you think there is still a chance for them to appear, and btw if we should add this in the trivia?
I’m half and half. See, bringing in the FF does not fix any current problems the comic may have. They’ll just be there and the story goes on. They have so much backstory to them and I’d feel it was best that they were remembered for what they were. If Flynn does manage to find a way to implement them, who am I to say no? I’m just trying to be cautious personally
We don’t have a rule per se but I believe other members prefer it (at least for films) to have their screenshots remain in that format. If you do have a counterpoint to this, I would be open for discussion
