The Meropis City Guard[2] is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the elite defense force charged with protecting the underwater city of Meropis. The guard answer directly to King Puff and Queen Angelica.

Act One[]
During the Shattered World Crisis, Striker and his City Guard arrived at the Eusebes Temple as a part of their usual morning visit, only to find three of the Freedom Fighters–Sonic, Amy, and Rotor–trespassing on the sacred land.[1]
