Mephiles the Dark is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a hedgehog-like being who is a prisoner in the Zone Jail.
Personality[]
Unlike the never appeared Prime Zone's Mephiles, this version of the character appears to have a less sinister and expressive demeanor. This could also be a result of the inhibition collars all prisoners have, which are dulling his powers.
History[]
It's unknown how this version of Mephiles got captured by Zone Cops, but two versions is due to him hopping in time, or, as Solaris, attempting to wreck havoc on the multiverse.
Mephiles would become a prisoner in the Zone Jail and a seemed to have a close bond with Void. He was first seen eating in the cafeteria, and later particitpated in the jail break with the other prisoners, but would fail.[1][2]
