The Memory Neutralizing Chip is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a chip installed in the brains of the Dark Legionnaires upon their birth or joining the Dark Legion.

Description

When activated, the Memory Neutralizing Chip wipes the subject's memories.

History

After pleading her case to the Brotherhood, Eli-Za and her son both had their Memory Neutralizing Chips activated, allowing the pair to peacefully integrate into Echidnaopolis as "poor amnesiacs".

Julie-Su also had her chip activated, as it was used to make her unaware of her relation to Grandmaster Luger and her half-siblings, Kragok and Lien-Da (thinking she'd be an obstacle in their pursuit of power), and then to forget her adoptive parents when it was feared they'd reveal the truth of her family to her.
