The Memorial Garage[1] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a section of Eggperial City where Dr. Eggman keeps his old mecha vehicles.
Description[]
The Memorial Garage is a very large, hall-like hangar with a curved ceiling, a tunnel-like design, and orange lights illuminating it. It has several walkways hanging from the ceilings and around the mecha vehicles housing it.[1] Notable mecha vehicles of Dr. Eggman's design found in the Memorial Garage include:
The Memorial Garage can be accessed via an escape chute from Eggperial City's main headquarters.[1]
History[]
Past[]
Constructed in Eggperial City, the Memorial Garage would house various old mecha vehicles of Dr. Eggman's, as the Display Museum had yet to be finished at the time.[1]
Imposter Syndrome and Battle for the Empire[]
When Dr. Starline took over the Eggman Empire and its robot forces with an override program, Dr. Eggman escaped from the robots coming to apprehend him in his headquarters by fleeing through a chute to the Memorial Garage. There, Eggman mused about how he thought had time to refurbish his old mechas before choosing one of them for his counterattack and activating its offline mode in order to keep Starline's program from taking control of it.[1] Eggman chose the Egg Emperor and attacked the central tower of his city where Starline was. Starline managed to find the memorial garage himself and took the Eggrobo to fight Eggman.[2]
Urban Warfare[]
With Starline defeated, Doctor Eggman returned his mechs to the Memorial Garage. During an attack on the city by Sonic, his friends, and Team Dark, Omega and Shadow fell into the Memorial Garage. Rouge, Blaze, and Silver fought Shadow Androids in the garage in order to get to Shadow.[3] Once he was freed, they escaped the garage and with the combined forces of Sonic and co, they destroyed the city and the Memorial Garage with it.[4]
