Mega Chao

Mega Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Mega Chao have white, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large blue eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, they have two long spikes resembling Silver’s quills. They also have ring cuffs on their arms and triangular yellow ears on top of their heads, short and round tails, a small set of wings on their backs, yellow-tipped arms and ears, turquoise tips on their head spikes, purple-tipped feat, and yellow bellies.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Mega Chao is a limited collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model in between the cyan and green vending machines in Green Hill for 350,000 Rings on 30 April 2022. However, the option to purchase them was removed approximately 48 hours afterwards.

In gameplay, Mega Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Mega Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Mega Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Mega Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Mega Chao by collecting five Mega Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Mega Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Mega Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
