The Medal of Gawain (ガウェインのメダル, Gauiein no medaru^?) is a collectible item that appears in Sonic and the Black Knight.

Description

The Medal of Gawain is a bronze-colored medal with a rugged round shape and Sir Gawain's head inscribed on its face.

Overview

In gameplay, the player can collect the Medal of Gawain during certain Missions in certain areas. For then to obtain it, the player must use the ID points earned from completing the Mission where the Medal of Gawain was picked up to identify it on the identification screen. When equipped to the playable character, the Medal of Gawain will change background music during a Mission to "Unknown From M.E." from Sonic Adventure. The Medal of Gawain is needed to craft the Flamberge.
