Mecha Amalgam[1] is a transformation that appears in the Sonic Texture Pack. It is a transformation of Mecha Sonic Mark II caused through a combination of other robot Sonic copies. In the Sonic Texture Pack, it replaces the Wither boss from Minecraft.
Appearance[]
The base of Mecha Amalgam is the same as Mecha Sonic with the only difference being small chips out of their chest and shin guard and holes in their left knee and arm showing an orange metal skeleton. Multiple of Mecha Amalgam limbless of other robot Sonic copies. Their right arm is replaced with the right arm from Mecha Sonic Mark III from Sonic Adventure and their right shoulder is replaced with the back of Mecha Sonic's head from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Mecha's left leg is replaced with the left leg from- again -Mecha Sonic Mark III, and their left shoulder is replaced with the head of Mecha Sonic from the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Finally on Mecha Amalgam's back is the back of Mecha Sonic Model No.29's head from Sonic the Fighters, and where its tail would be is the hand of the version of Mecha Sonic from Sonic Mania.

Mecha Amalgam possess a greatly enhanced strength and durability. They also possess the ability to fly and to launch energy balls at will.

When reaching low health, Mecha Amalgam is able to attain a Super State. In this state, it becomes invulnerable to projectile attacks.
Trivia[]
- As shown in a piece of concept art, Mecha Amalgam had a different design during development. In this original design Mecha's right arm is replaced with the claw from Mecha Sonic from the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and their left arm is replaced with that of Mecha Sonic Mark III. Both their shoulders are replaced with the back of Mecha Sonic's head from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Mecha's right leg is replaced with the right leg from Mecha Sonic Model No.29. Finally, its chest was replaced with the top chest of Mecha Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with the visor of Mecha Sonic from the 8-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 wrapped around its waist. They also seem to lack a nose.
