Marta is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She was the wife of Arrunda.

Marta was a mobian echidna woman with red fur and black eyes. She wears a white robe.
Personality[]
Marta disliked her husband’s obsession with watching too much TV, and was glad when the Echidnas chose to give up their technology.
History[]
Apparently fed up with her husband's television habits-particularly Monday night football-she willingly opened the door to Guardian Edmund and other government officers who arrived to confiscate technology that had recently been banned. Despite her husband's protest, she made no effort to support him as he expressed his outrage over the incident.[1]
