Mountains loom against a purple sky as you race around ruins.

— Description, Sonic the Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia

Marble is a racecourse that appears in Sonic Drift. It is a racing track located in the Marble Zone. It is the second course in all three Chaos GPs available in the game.

Description[]

The main setting of Marble is similar to that of the Marble Zone in the original Sonic the Hedgehog, albeit without the underground sections. The majority of the landscape is that of a slightly pale grassy field with crumbling purple temples and adorning it. The sky itself is lavender and slightly cloudy. Additionally, in the background there are tall gray mountains that have green trees at the bottom, with either large red lava pits or blocky overgrown purple ruins in front of them.

The racing tracks through Marble are mainly colored in alternating blue and electric horizontal stripes with similarly colored crimson and white edges. On the sides of the tracks there are also occasionally purple stone columns.

Gameplay[]

In Marble, the objective for the player is to race along the laid-out asphalted racetrack against other racers for a top position in the race. Racing outside the border of the asphalt track will cause the player to lose speed immediately. Additionally, the stone columns on the outside of the racetracks will cause the playable characters to come to an immediately stop and lose a Ring if they collide with them.

Overview[]

In Marble, the player races on a circular racing track encompassing the entire map. The layout of the racing track in Marble depends on which circuit in the Chaos GP the player chooses. Additionally, each racing track is littered with different power-ups and objects that the player can utilize. On each of the layouts for the Marble racecourse, the player's objective is to complete three laps of the racetrack.
