Manabu Kusunoki is a former developer and designer for Sega, and was a member of Sonic Team. Kusunoki first started his work on the Sonic series with designing Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel for SegaSonic the Hedgehog. He left Sega in 1998 to join Naoto Ohshima's Artoon, and he now currently works at Arzest.
