The mailman is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs.

History[]

The mailman is a mailman who delivers mail to the Wachowski family. He apparently has a history with their dog, Ozzy, enough that Knuckles the Echidna considers him to be the dog's "greatest enemy" due to barking at him.

At some point, in an attempt to settle into the Wachowskis' home, Knuckles kidnapped the mailman and forced him to fight Ozzy in the living room, which he had transformed into a warrior fighting pit of his own design. Both Ozzy and the mailman were reluctant to participate in Knuckles' trial by combat, with the mailman pleading with Maddie to let him go home. In response, Maddie halted the battle before it could begin by grounding Knuckles.
