Mad (マッド Maddo?) is an character in the Sonic the Hedgehog serialized manga published by Shogakukan. He is the brother of Anton Beruka, the Number One Hooligan in the Hedgehog Town.
Description

Mad is a smaller, anthropomorphic lizard compared to his big brother Anton. His only difference is that he wears a small red and yellow baseball cap in the Shogaku Ninensei stories.[1]
Not much is known about Mad aside that he belongs in his big brother's lizard gang. Though it is easier to recognize him from other lizards in the Shogaku Ninensei stories, his appearance is unclear in the CoroCoro Comics Specials[2] and the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog illustrated text stories[3] as another boy in his gang is known to wear a baseball bat or other attires as well. Also, Anton has yet to refer to one of his gang members by his little brother's name.
