Machine Labyrinth is the second zone in Sonic Rush Adventure. It is found on a large mechanised island driven by steam, and is located in the Sol Dimension.
Overview
The Machine Labyrinth is in a large steam factory, with plenty of steam used to help or hinder Sonic. The major "gimmick" of this zone is the steam-powered hang glider, where the player presses up to get a burst of upward velocity. This stage has a similar feeling to Chemical Plant and Metropolis from Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
The boss of this zone is Ghost Pendulum. To beat it, repeatedly hit the swinging ball until it hits the body of the robot up at the top of the screen. Two larger balls will be added to the mix later on in the fight, as well as a stomping device that releases a shockwave of damaging energy. The bigger balls are hard to hit up to the robot. Every so often the balls sprout spikes, so don't hit them in this state.
