Omega reconfigures his claws as gatling guns, delivering full-auto attacks to the opposing team.

— Description, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood[1]

Machine Gunner (マシンガンナー Mashingan'nā?) is a POW move used by E-123 Omega in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When using this, Omega transforms his claws into gatling guns and fires them at the enemy. This attack deals Full Auto damage.

When performing Machine Gunner, Omega walks up in front of his opponent and reconfigures both his hands into gatling gun. Omega then aims both his gatling guns at the opponent and shoots a few rounds at him/her with them, before returning to his team position.

In gameplay, Machine Gunner deals Full Auto attack damage to a chosen target with twelve strikes while also dealing damage to all the other enemies present on the opposing side of the battlefield. The higher the level of Machine Gunner is, the more attack damage it will deal.

Real-Time Interaction

When performing Machine Gunner in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Machine Gunner optimally:

  1. The player has to tap an inner circle that appears eight times, before the outer circle overlap the inner circle.
  2. The player has to touch the inside of two circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles.

Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Omegaa missing a strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.

Level PP Cost Damage Effect
I 4 12 x 25% of Attack damage Full Auto
II 4 12 x 50% of Attack damage Full Auto
III 4 12 x 75% of Attack damage Full Auto
