The Lunarbot is a character that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. It was a mind-controlling robot created by Dr. Eggman that took control of Christopher Thorndyke.
Appearance
The Lunarbot is a large, humanoid grey robot with missile launchers for hands. Its overall body, limbs and head included, is very rectangular in shape.
History

The Lunarbot was one of the many robots that took control of Sonic's various friends and allies, namely Christopher Thorndyke.[1]
While Sonic and his allies initially struggled to take down the Lunarbot and the other mind-controlling robots without harming their friends inside them, they turned the tide of battle around when Chris managed to resist the control of the Lunnarbot and used it to take down Eggman.[2]
Powers and abilities
The Lunarbot is capable of trapping a human inside itself and taking control of said person's mind. It also has missile launchers as hands and can electrocute opponents by discharging electricity.[2]
