The Lock-On Shot (ロックオンレーザー Rokkuonrēzā?, lit. "Lock-on laser") is an attack used by E-123 Omega in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). When using this technique, Omega shoots enemies with homing lasers.

Description

When performing Lock-On Shot, Omega first charges an orange form of energy in his left forearm. He then opens up the front of his left forearm, revealing several gun barrels, and shoots up to several orange Homing Lasers at his surrounding enemies.[1]

When performing Lock-On Shot in gameplay, the player can lock onto surrounding enemies before releasing a shower of lasers, each of which will home onto a single enemy and deal one point of damage, thereby allowing the player to attack several enemies at once. To use Lock-On Shot in gameplay, the player must hold Square/XboxX while using the left stick to lock onto enemies, then release to fire.
