The Lava Bomb is a Trap Item that appears in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle.
Description
The Lava Bomb takes the form of an orb of lava with fire spikes protruding from it.

Overview
In gameplay, the Lava Bomb can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Blaze the Cat. As with all other Items, Metal Sonic can also use the Lava Bomb if he uses the Steal Item to steal it from the aforementioned users.
When used, it will place a bomb in-front of the player directly ahead of them. If the player is in first place, then the bomb will appear in front of them. It has infinite range like Lightning and deals massive damage when collided with.
