The boss of Last Utopia Zone is [[Doctor Eggman|Dr. Eggman]], who is armed with a weaponized hovercraft powered by the purple [[Chaos Emerald]]. Step too close and Eggman will grab [[Sonic the Hedgehog|Sonic]] and brutally slam him into the ground like a rag doll. When Sonic is at an otherwise safe distance, Eggman will fire off the machine's arms like missiles. To acquire the purple Chaos Emerald, the player has to physically knock it out of the machine and then grab it before finishing the fight. If the player has any less than all seven of the Chaos Emeralds at this point, the game ends here and the player will receive the game's bad ending.

Last Utopia Zone is the eighth and last regular Zone of Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure.

Description

The Last Utopia Zone consists solely of a gray plaform arena with yellow and black hazard stripes on it. In the background, one can see the black vastness of space and the blue surface of the earth.

This Zone features a stand-off between Sonic the Hedgehog and Dr. Eggman, similar to the setting of the final Death Egg battle from Sonic & Knuckles.

Boss
