The Laser Hunter (レーザーハンター,Rēzā Hantā?) is a robot deployed by the military organization Guardian Units of Nations and is a part of the Hunter series. They appear in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. Instead of bullets, they fire lasers, hence the name.
The Laser Hunter is an advanced version of the Gun Hunter that comes in two variants; one fires a green colored laser while the other fires a blue colored laser. The latter's laser can immobilize the player should he/she be caught by them but will not take damage. These robots can be destroyed easily with any attack from the player, earning 100 points like the normal Gun Hunters.
