Lara-Su is a character that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a counterpart of Lara-Su who existed in the timeline leading from Mobius Prime's present to the year 3437 P.X.E.
History[]
Known life[]
Lara-Su lived at some point between 3237 and 3437 P.X.E. During her lifetime, she was part of a group of Freedom Fighters, though her activities are unknown.[1]
Legacy[]
In Silver the Hedgehog's time, a large statue of Lara-Su stood in the ruined city of Portal, and Lara-Su also appears in a painting in Edmund's library.[1]
Trivia[]
- This version of Lara-Su is certainly an ancestor of Edmund's, and certain hints have suggested that she was his mother. Edmund spoke of the trials faced by his mother and grandfather-presumably intended as Knuckles the Echidna. Furthermore, upon encountering Prelate-V, Edmund noted that the being reminded him of his father. Given the hinted romantic relationship between Lara-Su's counterpart from the Light Mobius reality and Argyle the Crocodile, it is likely that the P.X.E. versions may also have been romantically involved and had Edmund.
- Given the removal of various characters created by Ken Penders from the comic, it is unlikely that this version of Lara-Su will ever appear.
