Koco Mask Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Koco Mask Chao take the appearance of a normal Chao, with a cyan pudding like body and yellow tips on their hands, feet, and head points as well as a yellow ball floating above their head. For attire, they wear a Koco mask, which resembles a Koco with no legs and closed eyes.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Koco Mask Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for an unknown amount of Robux from November 12th 2022 to December 3rd, 2022, as part of the Frontiers Tag event. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once for a higher amount of Robux at a nearby display model.

In gameplay, Koco Mask Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Koco Mask Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Koco Mask Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Koco Mask Chao will improve its attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Koco Mask Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Koco Mask Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Koco Mask Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
