Knuckles
Knuckles the Echidna Sonic Adventure 2 Rouge the Bat , after clearing Mad Space .
Battle
The battle takes place in the large tower seen in the center of Meteor Herd . Eventually, the floor in the area will open, sending them into the air where movements and gliding are possible. The fight will continue on the sides of the tower when this happens, until the floor closes again.
Knuckles's battle is very complex. Should both combatants hit each other at the same time, they will repel each other without harm. The player thus have to attack Knuckles while he is moving. When fighting him on the tower structures, the key is to track Knuckles down and attack himr when near him. During the battle, Knuckles uses his Punch Attack in close combat and his Glide or Drill Claw when Rouge is beneath him. As Knuckles takes damage, He will start using her two special attacks: when Rouge is close he will use his Hammer Punch , and when far away he busts out his Thunder Arrow which can hit Rouge anywhere. Four hits are required to defeat Knuckles.
