Past
Over ten years ago, Knuckles' father prepared to join his tribe in a raid, with the intention of acquiring Longclaw's secrets about the Master Emerald. His young son, Knuckles, also wished to join the raid, but Knuckles' father stopped him, stating that his moment to honor the tribe would come sometime else. After that, Knuckles' father left with his tribe for the raid, and was never seen by Knuckles again, leaving him to an unknown fate. However, Knuckles has been referred to as "the last of the Echidnas", meaning that Knuckles' father is at least believed to be dead by the public.
Personality
Although little is known about Knuckles' father, he strongly wanted what was best for him and his tribe. Additionally, he greatly cared for his son, as he forbade Knuckles from joining him and the rest of their kin in going to war against Longclaw. Equally reassuring, he assured Knuckles that the time for him to honor their tribe would come eventually.
