The Knothole Freedom Fighters is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a Freedom Fighter group and the alternate counterparts of the Knothole Freedom Fighters from a parallel version of Mobius.

History

Past

In the year 3235, the champion of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, Sonic the Hedgehog, fell into a trap orchestrated by Dr. Robotnik and jettisoned into space. Without Sonic, the Knothole Freedom Fighters lost the war against Robotnik, who launched his War of the World that left Mobius virtually uninhabitable. However, Antoine D'Coolette, Bunnie Rabbot, Rotor Walrus and Sally Acorn managed to live through the final firestorm and managed to drag themselves back to the ruins of Robotropolis. There, they located undamaged single-person spacecrafts in Robotnik's escape tower. Using those spacecrafts, each member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters retreated into a separate area of space in order to survive, adapt, and populate.[1]
