The Knight Smite is an Item Box power-up that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Projectile Item used primarily to attack rivals.

Description[]

The icon of the Knight Smite use Paladin Amy's hammer but pink, makes the pink waves of energy.

Overview[]

In gameplay, the Knight Smite can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Paladin Amy. As with most other Items, Metal Sonic can also use the Knight Smite if he uses the Steal Item to steal it from the aforementioned user.

Once obtained, the player can utilize the Knight Smite by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the Knight Smite slash around themselves that can damage rival characters adjacent to them. This slash causing rivals lose Rings and slow down momentarily. In addition, the user will launches a pink wave that travels down the lane it was deployed on in front of the user. This will disable after hit obstacles or rivals, or goes too far. If the user hit that wave of the Knight Smite will damaged that lose Rings, stop move for a moment, and lose randomly item they currently have. To avoid the Knight Smite, the player must either step out its lane or jump over it.

The Knight Smite can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 6 and 12 respectively. The user can upgrade to level 6 will deal more damage of the Knight Smite. And the user upgrade can upgrade to level 12 to gain more chance for two of the Knight Smite for one pickup.
