The King of Mobius was a character that was planned to appear in Sonic Underground, though ended up ultimately scrapped for unknown reasons. He was the rightful king of Mobius before Dr. Robotnik deposed him and his queen, and thus the biological father of Sonic, Sonia and Manic.
Sonic Underground[]
In the early plans for Sonic Underground, the King of Mobius' whereabouts would have been one of the many discoveries that his three children would have had to uncover, in order to find out more about their real family and fulfill the Oracle of Delphius' prophecy.
Physical appearance[]
As no model sheets were ever made for the character during the concept pitch for Sonic Underground, nothing is known officially about the King's physical appearance. However, it can be assumed that he may have resembled Sonic.
Powers and abilities[]
As only the concept pitch was made for the character prior to him being scrapped, there is no information on his powers and abilities. It is presumed, though, that he might have super speed like his son, Sonic.
Trivia[]
- While he never appeared nor was mentioned in the show, the French theme song of the show implied that there was no king at the time that Sonic and his siblings were born, which could mean that he either went away from court, was imprisoned, roboticized, or killed.
