Justin Gabrie appears several times in the stories of Off Panel's gags, back when Archie's staff was allowed to interact as avatars with 4th Wall Sonic and other characters in their Fourth wall dimension.

The Avatars of Archie's staff made their first appearance in the comic celebrating Archie Sonic's #25 milestone issue, the Sonic the Hedgehog CD adaption, during the comic's 4th wall era. Gabrie is depicted as an assistant to Scott Fulop, with Fulop showing Gabrie how to manage Off Panel.

Gabrie, later in life, would become the head editor and share many side adventures/gags with 4th Wall Sonic. He made a special appearance in a five-page story with 4th Wall Sonic encountering an enthusiastic fan with power to control the 4th Wall and Michael Gallagher, Deadline.
