The owner of Josef's, and not a terribly creative thinker, as the name of his shop surely implies. Recently, Josef realized he didn't have enough hobbies outside of work, so he took up jogging, painting, and photography. None of these endeavors lasted very long.
Josef (ジョセフ,Josefu?) is a character that appears in Sonic Unleashed. He is a human resident of Spagonia and the owner of the town's local shop, which he has unimaginative named "Josef's".
At some point not too long before the events of Sonic Unleashed, Josef realized that he did not participate in many personal hobbies outside of his work. As a result, he tried to pursue new interests, such as jogging, painting and taking photographs. For unknown reasons however, Josef quickly abandoned all of these attempts.
During the events of Sonic Unleashed, following Dark Gaia's dispersions across the globe, Josef became possessed by some of Dark Gaia's Minions. Their influence would then cause Josef to dance and party rowdy together with other possessed humans in the middle of the streets in Spagonia during nighttime, though he would return to normal during daytime. Some time after his possession, while dancing with other possessed people during the night, Josef and the rest had Dark Gaia' Minions exorcised from them by Sonic the Werehog and Chip, thus freeing Josef from their influence.
Josef later watched on in horror with the rest of his town as Dark Gaia began to cast the world into darkness while maturing into Perfect Dark Gaia, but rejoiced as the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat at the hands of Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus.
