Jonathan "Jon" H. Gray is an artist and compilation organizer. He used to work for Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, which he first began working on in 2003. Nowadays, he contributes to IDW Publishing's Sonic the Hedgehog comic series.
Career
Gray has created plenty of works for Archie, and is mostly remembered for the first issue that he drew for Sonic the Hedgehog #134. He provided the Off Panel for both Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe, taking the place of Steven Butler as Off Panel artist. Lamar Wells would since succeeded Gray as the Off Panel provider for the regular Sonic the Hedgehog comics.

- Several concept designs for characters featured in the "Return to Angel Island" arc seen in Sonic the Hedgehog #138-#141. These included designs for Lien-Da, Lara-Le, Wynmacher, Kneecaps, Remington, and an early Dr. Finitevus design with third eye.
- Original Battle Bird Armada and Bean the Dynamite designs; elements of the former were incorporated into the Armada's designs when they debuted in Sonic Universe #17-#20.
Trivia
- In addition to being an artist for the comic, Jon has worked with various writers-including Ian Flynn and Karl Bollers-on storylines for the Archie comic series.
- Gray has stated that his least favorite work in the Archie comic series is "Home: Epilogue" due to him being the one who drew the infamous scene where Sally slaps Sonic.
