Jewel Topaz Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesChao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.
Appearance [ ] Jewel Topaz Chao have aureolin pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating yellow dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.
Overview [ ] In Sonic Speed Simulator Event at the Spin Wheel in Green Hill Obby 2 after the player has obtained the seventh tool drop reward from that Spin Wheel's drop list. When using this Spin Wheel, the player had a 7% chance of getting a Jewel Topaz Chao. In subsequent release, it was replaced with a Jewel Citrine Chao , making it unobtainable.
In gameplay, Jewel Topaz Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Jewel Topaz Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Jewel Topaz Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine , with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Jewel Topaz Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Jewel Topaz Chao by collecting five Jewel Topaz Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine . Fusing a Jewel Topaz Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.
Powers and abilities [ ] Jewel Topaz Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
