Jewel Gold Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Jewel Gold Chao have golden-looking, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating orange dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Jewel Gold Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the gold vending machine. When purchasing from that vending machine, the player has a 4% chance of getting a Jewel Gold Chao.

In gameplay, Jewel Gold Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Jewel Gold Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Jewel Gold Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Jewel Gold Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Jewel Gold Chao by collecting five Jewel Gold Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Jewel Gold Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Jewel Gold Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
