Jewel Amethyst Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Jewel Amethyst Chao have purple, jewel-looking, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a floating dot above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Jewel Amethyst Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked both by destroying 250 Balloons as Metal Sonic in Metal Madness during the Metal Returns Event, and as a 18% chance of obtaining via the Spin Wheel in Metal Madness during the same event.

In gameplay, Jewel Amethyst Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Jewel Amethyst Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Jewel Amethyst Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Jewel Amethyst Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Jewel Amethyst Chao by collecting five Jewel Amethyst Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Jewel Amethyst Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Jewel Amethyst Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
