Jet Chao

Jet Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Jet Chao have green pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large, half-shut white and dark blue eyes with red eyelids, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. Their arms are tipped dark green, and their feet are colored red. They also have a floating, spiky yellow dot above their heads, a white pattern on their torso that resembles Jet's chest pattern, a short and round tail, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, they wear grey goggles with yellow lenses.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Jet Chao is a collectible pet of the "Legendary" rarity. It could be purchased at a display model near the starting point in Green Hill for 499 Robux starting on 17 September 2022 as part of the Metal City Race event. Alternatively, the player could buy five of them at once at a separate display model in the same world, although the price for this bundle is currently unknown. The option to purchase them was removed 6 days later on September 23rd 2022.

In gameplay, Jet Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, the Jet Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb, grant additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring, and will raise the player's jumping power slightly. The player can as well level up Jet Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Jet Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Jet Chao by collecting five of them, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Jet Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Jet Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also slightly boost the power of their user, making their jumps higher.
