— Description, Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble[1]

The Jet Board[1] (スノーボード[2] Sunōbōdo?, lit. "Snowboard"), also known as the Snowboard,[3] is a monitor power-up that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble. When obtained, it grants the player a snowboard.

Description[]

The monitors with Jet Board feature an oval, blue and white snowboard on their screens.

Overview[]

In gameplay, the Jet Boards only appear in Robotnik Winter Zone when the player is using Sonic as their playable character. When Sonic breaks open a Jet Board Monitor, Sonic will receive a Snowboard that allows him to zip down the paths in the Acts at high speed. During this time, the player can press Game Gear I Button/Game Gear II Button to jump. The Jet Board lasts until Sonic collides with an object, takes damage or falls into a hole. The player can also cancel the Jet Board by pressing Game Gear I Button/Game Gear II Button while in midair.

Because the Jet Board does not appear during Tails' playthrough, all the Jet Boards are replaced with the Hyper Heli-Tails in Tails' edition of Robotnik Winter Zone.
