Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-Quill[]
Jason and his gang were once hired by Agent Stone to steal a Robotnik Control Glove and USB Drive containing Dr. Robotnik's manifesto from the First bank of Walla Walla in Walla Walla, Washington. To help them along with their heist, Jason's gang leader and girlfriend, Lindsey, infiltrated the bank and posed as a regular citizen. As such, when Jason and his thugs attacked the bank, Jason pretended to take Lindsey hostage alongside his thugs while he went to the vault. Inside it, Jason found the Robotnik Control Glove, although he planned to first sow a little mayhem before handing it over to Stone.[1]
While working on activating the Robotnik Control Glove and using it to provide them with an escape route, Jason's thugs informed him that the police were surrounding them. When Sonic then arrived, thus forcing Lindsey to blow her cover in order to deal with Sonic, Jason was told by Lindsey to hurry up. Eventually though, Jason got the Robotnik Control Glove working, thereby making some aerial Badniks arrive and extract the bank's vault from the building. Amazed by the awesome power of the Badniks, Jason and Lindsey decided to keep the Robotnik Control Glove and use it to take the vault for themselves using the Badniks. Unfortunately, Sonic, who was inside the vault, made the vault spin until the Badniks dropped it. As they awaited Sonic's reemergence, Sonic smashed the vault door open and threatened them with his superhero nickname, "Hedgehog the Unkillable". Jason, however, was hardly intimidated. After Sonic took out Jason's thugs though, Sonic demanded that Jason told him where he got the Robotnik Control Glove from, which Jason "swore" he had heard about on the dark web. When Lindsey then got taken out of commission by a Badnik she tried to command, Jason and his thugs were put in line by Sonic, who told them to keep quiet about him. As Tom then appeared in the bank to make the robbers surrender, Jason complied, claiming that he had seen the error of his ways.[1]
