Success! A fully functioning Robotnik Control Glove and all the hardware to tap into his network. Just like the client promised... ...But that doesn't mean we can't sow a little mayhem before we turn it over to him.

— Jason, Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-Quill

Jason[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. He is a human criminal who once tried securing Dr. Robotnik's creations on behalf of Agent Stone with the aid of his associates.[1]

Jason is a human of average build. He possesses peach skin, ruffled and short brown hair, blue eyes, and noticeable stubbles. He also has a vertical scar across his nose bridge and another one on his left cheek. For attire, he wears a purple hoodie, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2: The Official Movie Pre-Quill

Jason and his gang were once hired by Agent Stone to steal a Robotnik Control Glove and USB Drive containing Dr. Robotnik's manifesto from the First bank of Walla Walla in Walla Walla, Washington. To help them along with their heist, Jason's gang leader and girlfriend, Lindsey, infiltrated the bank and posed as a regular citizen. As such, when Jason and his thugs attacked the bank, Jason pretended to take Lindsey hostage alongside his thugs while he went to the vault. Inside it, Jason found the Robotnik Control Glove, although he planned to first sow a little mayhem before handing it over to Stone.[1]

While working on activating the Robotnik Control Glove and using it to provide them with an escape route, Jason's thugs informed him that the police were surrounding them. When Sonic then arrived, thus forcing Lindsey to blow her cover in order to deal with Sonic, Jason was told by Lindsey to hurry up. Eventually though, Jason got the Robotnik Control Glove working, thereby making some aerial Badniks arrive and extract the bank's vault from the building. Amazed by the awesome power of the Badniks, Jason and Lindsey decided to keep the Robotnik Control Glove and use it to take the vault for themselves using the Badniks. Unfortunately, Sonic, who was inside the vault, made the vault spin until the Badniks dropped it. As they awaited Sonic's reemergence, Sonic smashed the vault door open and threatened them with his superhero nickname, "Hedgehog the Unkillable". Jason, however, was hardly intimidated. After Sonic took out Jason's thugs though, Sonic demanded that Jason told him where he got the Robotnik Control Glove from, which Jason "swore" he had heard about on the dark web. When Lindsey then got taken out of commission by a Badnik she tried to command, Jason and his thugs were put in line by Sonic, who told them to keep quiet about him. As Tom then appeared in the bank to make the robbers surrender, Jason complied, claiming that he had seen the error of his ways.[1]

A dirty criminal, Jason is rude and demanding. Showing a preference for mayhem, he open enjoys causing a little havoc for his own amusement. He also prefers to have the time he needs to carry out his objectives, although he usually masks his stress with a confident smile. He also has a way of showing an open lack of respect, even to his boss, and does not always appear to be on the same wavelength as his cohorts. He is also quite greedy and rather dishonest, even when under threats.[1]

Powers and abilities

Jason has some skills with computers, being able to figure out how to activate even Dr. Robotnik's highly advanced Robotnik Control Glove which requires a genius to operate, although he needed some time to make it work.[1]

Jason wields an regular handgun. For a short time, he also wielded a Robotnik Control Glove, which gave him control over Badniks and access to Robotnik's network.[1]
