Jari-Thure is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a human resident of a village in Artika and one of the Guardians of the Gaia Keys, which are essential to access the Gaia Temple.

History

Shattered World Crisis

Act Two

Jari-Thure and his wife, Sarianna, were abducted by the Artika Egg Army and held at their base. As such, Sonic the Hedgehog and Rotor the Walrus of the Freedom Fighters allowed themselves to be captured in order to find and rescue the pair. While they faced some opposition from the Egg Soldiers and Badniks stationed there, they succeeded in escaping, in part thanks to Sonic's transformation into the Werehog. Upon returning to their village, Jari-Thure and his wife gratefully entrusted the pair with their Gaia Keys.[1]

Later on, Jari-Thure and his family would watch in fear as the local Gaia Temple would rise up from the ground.[2] However, they would later come to peace as they oversaw the restoration of the world.[3]
