Jade is a character that appears in Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps. She is a Jade Wisp that was a companion to Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower during the Planet Wisp incident.
Appearance[]
Jade resembles a standard Jade Wisp, having a hood-like head with a pointed, zigzag protrusion that extends backwards from the top, and three tentacles that are wide near the middle and end in a jagged point, along with sharp fanged-like mouth in the style of a jack-o-lantern.
History[]
Sonic Colors: Rise of Wisps[]
During Sonic, Tails and Yacker's adventure through Egg Planet Park, specifically Sweet Mountain, the heroes stumble upon Jade, who begins telling her story using Tails Miles Eletric. Her story starts in a base somewhere in Sweet Mountain, where she was held captive in a Wisp Capsule along with many other fellow Wisps. Jade says Eggman left the base and had put Metal Sonic in charge to watch the Wisps in captivity. The Rebel Wisps then sneak into the base and start to save the other Wisps quietly. Jade then frees some others from Cubot with the help of her Jade Ghost ability. Metal Sonic catches on the rescue effort thanks to Jade and starts to capture the Rebel's one by one. Just as Jade it about to a captured by Metal Sonic, Rebel Wisp Blue blocks the robot from reaching her with his Blue Cube ability, allowing Jade to escape. Jade finishes her story and starts to cry, being comforted by Yacker. Sonic asks her where he can find the trio. Jade says she knows exactly where they are and leads the group. They soon confront Metal Sonic, Orbot and Cubot manning a Prison Capsule. Sonic and Metal race around the planet, Jade, Tails, Yacker, Orbot and Cubot following them both closely behind. Tails tell Sonic to and hurry up and free the Wisps instead of fighting Metal before the Wisps energy is drained by the Prison Capsules. Metal gets a lead over Sonic by forcibly draining a White Wisps's Hyper-go-ons with the help of a Wisp Capsule installed into him by Orbot and Cubot. Metal Sonic swiftly turns around to charge at Sonic but Jade quicky goes into Sonic, empowering him with the Jade Ghost ability to phase right through the robot and destroy the Prison Capsule, though their efforts were pointless as the Wisps inside had already been converted to Nega-Wisps, which powers up Metal Sonic with the Wisps stolen Hyper-go-ons. In a moment of desperation, Jade quickly phases into Metal Sonic, making him invulnerable, though this results in the Wisp Capsule inside of him falling out, returning the Nega-Wisp's Hyper-go-ons, restoring them to their former forms. This allows sonic to easily make lite work of Metal Sonic and his lackeys while he is of-guard, using all of the Rebel Wisp's Color Powers. The day is then saved and Jade waves goodbye as the heroes continue their adventure.
Personality[]
Jade has a timid personality, with her mouth closed most of the time rather than the typical wide grin from other Jade Wisps, though she is always happy to help others in need and seems to enjoy talking to other Wisps. She can also be rather cheeky.
Powers and abilities[]
Jade is able to levitate in midair at will, which serves as her main method of transportation. As a trait shared by her species, Jade is able to generate and store their own unique variant of a powerful energy inside their own body. Jade can also pass on a fraction of this energy by phasing into the recipient. She can also use this energy to turn the user invulnerable for a short time.

Sonic the Hedgehog[]
Jade has grown a good bond with Sonic the Hedgehog, Even during her story adds exciting things to it to cheer Sonic up. Jade was also determined to defeat Metal Sonic proving she is brave like Sonic.
Miles "Tails" Prower[]
Tails helps jade save her friends and stop Metal Sonic. Tails cares for Jade as he criticized Sonic's humor of her story as being rude.
